THE DIALOGUE OF RELIGIONS
We attended The Dialogue of Religions eventĀ was on Wednesday, July 19, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., at Temple Beth Shalom .They hadĀ two parts. The first part was a symposium featuring four presenters from the affected communities. They wereĀ Salma Ahmad, President of the Islamic Society of Greater Portland, Portland; Eli Herb, Rabbi, Temple Beth Shalom, Salem; Navneet Kaur,, Sikh Adherent, Salem; and Benny Williams, President, NAACP Chapter 1166,Ā Salem.Dr. James A. R. Nafziger . He is the Thomas B. Stoel Professor of Law,Ā and Director of International Law Programs, Willamette University Law College.In the second part, wereĀ Peter Bergel, a long-term peace activist and Director of Oregon Peace Works will facilitate it….We spent a great time when we listened to many different ReligionsĀ and opinion!!!
